Based on the Isle of Wight, managing director Tony Dean has 36 years personal experience in the scaffolding industry. During this time, he has worked all over the UK, running projects with values up to £750k for companies such as McAlpine, Costain, Balfour Beatty, Try and Kier. These included specialist falsework for the construction of motorway bridges and shoring and propping works at London’s Royal Opera House and other high-profile projects.

You may be aware that the Principal Contractor or Site Supervisor, who have control over the various phases and trades involved in a construction project, take on various responsibilities for the safety and welfare of all persons on site. Health, safety and welfare must, by law be properly planned managed and monitored, SASC can assist you in implementing adequate safety management.

SASC can ensure your compliance and adherence to British and European Standards through their comprehensive knowledge and experience in the industry. As information members, we have access to documentation and advice from the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) This will help your business to uphold best practise and in turn, satisfy your clients with your commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
